Another fun day in Portland with two boys!

Friday night was completely uneventful! Both boys slept soundly through the night and woke up well-rested and ready for a fun day with Auntie and Uncle Frank.
Uncle Frank cooked yummy French toast and we had strawberries and bananas on the side.
After breakfast and a few more games of Connect 4, and Trouble, each boy had turns being the wheelbarrow. Great fun!

The boys were very excited because we were going to their first 'real' movie - Wall-E - at Kennedy School. We had an early lunch of octo-dogs, mac-n-cheese, celery and hummus.
Time to get dressed and head to the movies. We stopped at the ticket counter to buy our tickets and to check out what the inside of the theater looked like. But first, a picture in front of the movie poster.
The theater is inside an old elementary school and I think the theater is in what used to be the auditorium. Instead of traditional seats, they had comfy chairs and couches. We picked a good seat and settled in for the movie. I'm really proud of the boys. They lasted the whole 1.5 hours of the movie!

Home for a nap and some football-baseball watching.
Naps went a little longer than usual so we didn't get to go to the park as I hoped, but that didn't stop us from having fun in the basement. Rich, Frank's nephew, stopped by for a short visit. Then it was time to get dinner started. The boys were in charge of shucking the corn we got at the Pumpkin Patch the other day and they did a great job!
Frank's famous meatloaf was on the menu and the boys got to help with the assembly as well as shaping their own loafs (Nate had a volcano and Chris had a bat.)

After dinner we watched a little more ball, played darts and did a few puzzles. Time for PJ's and a bedtime story. :o)

We are having a wonderful time with Chris and Nate! Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can go to the park this morning.
