Game weekend in Tallahassee

This weekend it was FSU vs UNC and kickoff was set for 3:30pm.  The weather forecast called for cooler temperatures (ok, downright cold!)  We gladly traded cold beers for spiced/spiked apple cider and neck chillers for hand warmers.

The tailgate attendees and participation for this tailgate made a 180 degree turn.  A few months ago, Frank's nephew and family were making plans to attend.  Some new friends we met in Oklahoma were going to be there and even some folks to tailgate near us.  But the young Astors were going to be there!  Tim and Megan have recently moved to Augusta, gotten new jobs and oh yes, have their beautiful boy, Nolen.  :o)  It was Nolen's first FSU game and we were all excited for the Astor family that everyone was here.

Friday night we went to GetDown and met up with many of the usual suspects.  It was great to spend time with everyone!
Here are a few scenes from our fun tailgate. NC-themed food was great and we couldn't have asked for nicer fall-football weather.

Bob, Barry and Frank catching up.

Jamie Holley (back row, long brown hair) brought the Florida High cheerleaders to the tailgate.

Frank, Paul L. and Steve Corso (yes, Lee's son).

The whole gang!  (Including the littlest Nole, Nolen.)
It was pretty chilly in the stadium and needless to say, we were shocked and disappointed in the outcome of the game.  :o(
