Transitioning from the coast to the mountains

We left Myrtle Beach and were heading to Winston-Salem. Because we had a few days before we had to be in NC, we spent a few days in Rock Hill, SC and had several opportunities to visit with Tom & Raquel.

We made arrangements (and I use that term loosely) to park at Ebenezer Park, which was only about 20 minutes away from Tom & Raquel. The park didn't take reservations and spots were first-come-first-served (which was a little unsettling to me.)    But called a few days before our arrival and were assured there would be a spot for us. 

What a beautiful place!  Lots of room and beautiful views of Lake Wylie.  (A little gem that we're glad not many people knew about.)
