Buffalo!
The results from the earthquake in the early 20's in the Gros Ventre area.
Slide Lake, which was formed after the earthquake in 1925.
Driving along and these fellows were just hanging out on the side of the road.
They posed for quite some time....guess they are used to people gawking at them. :o)

We watched these horses for a while....the brown and white ones seemed to be playing a game of chase.
Or maybe they were just trying to catch up with the rest of the group.

There were a couple of dogs just have a good ol' time playing in the river.

We opted to stay in the car to take pictures.
When wildlife is in the road, everything stops for them.
After a few minutes, he decided to return to the grassy area and everyone could move along.
This herd of buffalo were trying to rid themselves of their winter coats.

From the Chapel, we headed toward Jenny Lake.
There were a group of locals who were enjoying a Sunday afternoon in/at the lake.

After the day of touring, we headed back to Solitude where we were treated to a yummy home-cooked meal of steak, salmon, potatoes, broccoli and salad. Delicious!!
