Three states in six(ish) hours

The morning started in Stateline, NV.  By lunch time we were back in California, in one of the many national forests/parks in this part of the country.  And by dinner time we were in Medford, Oregon.  Our final destination is Portland, Oregon.  Here are some pictures from the travels north-bound:

Chilly but no snow or ice on the roads.

Not as green as around Lake Tahoe, but still just as pretty.

Who knows....this could be us next year.  :)

Beautiful!

While we only spent six-ish hours driving through three states, during the winter, I can appreciate more the words of  "America the Beautiful".  And this was probably a good snapshot of what we will see when we do our cross-country trek next year in the TeePee.
