House in Boone, NC

Summer in the mountains.

Over the past month, we've been getting things in order to enjoy the cooler temperatures and activities in the mountains of North Carolina. A lot of planting outside, front and back along with doing lots of things inside.

Here's a sneak peek at the house in Boone, NC.

Who needs a gym when there are 17 steps to climb from the carport to the main living area?

Front porch - a nice quiet, sunny spot to relax and read a book and watch the hummingbirds visit the feeder.

All that's missing is the disco ball - the deck is huge!



Another peaceful spot to catch a few rays, relax and enjoy the beauty and sounds of the mountains.

And now that all the projects have been mostly finished, perhaps we'll be able to do just that.
