Day 22 - Soldiers and Indians at Little Bighorn

One of the visits we didn't want to miss while we were in Montana was The Battle at Little Bighorn.  But before we headed out, we needed to make a stop at a bakery recommended in the book (www.Roadfood.com) Frank's daughter's gave us.  Stella's Bakery and Kitchen, known for huge(ly) delicious cinnamon rolls.

The large cinnamon rolls.

We opted for one of the small(er) ones.

More old buildings in the plains.

Rolling hills as far as the eye can see.

The narrated trail through the battle area overlooks the beautiful terrain.

I

Indian Encampment for over 7,000 men, women and children (of which about 2,000 were warriors).
