First leg of the trip

Several months ago, a plan was hatched to visit the Naples friends over the summer in Lake George.  And we thought we'd spend a few days in Maine before heading to Ticonderoga.

Our goal:  LOBSTER!  (If necessary, at every meal while we are in Maine.)

We had an uneventful flight from Charlotte to Boston.  Since we were not returning to Boston, we were certain we'd be getting a little shoebox of a rental car.  How surprised were we when we got to the lot and there was a shiny red CTS with Frank's name on it! 

The destination once we got checked into the hotel in Ogunquit....the Ogunquit Lobster Pound!  The line was long, the wait was nearly an hour, but the weather was nice and it was well worth every minute of waiting!

 Our eyes were bigger than our tummies, but it was oh so good!
